Information for Passengers:
Closure of Bahrain Air means that all the operations, including administrative operations, have ceased completely. As such, no employee of Bahrain Air can provide refunds or provide you with an alternative airline ticket. This process is now governed by Bahrain’s bankruptcy laws in accordance with Bahrain’s Commercial Companies Law. If you have not completed your journey, you will regrettably have to make your own arrangements and purchase new tickets if necessary.

A decision will be made on all claims, including ticket refunds, in the near future based on the findings of the liquidators appointed by the Bahrain Air shareholders at the EGM held on 12/2/2013.

Customers with tickets dated beyond February 12, 2013 can email their claims to claims@bahrainair.net or send them by post to:

Passengers with tickets dated beyond 12 February 2012 are required to present the following supporting documents when submitting their claim:

  1. Copy of the eticket.
  2. Passport and ID card of the passengers and the paying party.
  3. Contact details ( Telephone and email ).

Creditors are requested to present the following supporting documents when submitting their claim:

  1. Official and full claim including statement of account via email.
  2. The original documents required in 1 above are required to be physically mailed to the Liquidator on P.O. Box 3266 Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.
